Specialties & Paper Products Health and Welfare Fund was formed in March, 1973 by 2 Union Trustees and 2 Employer Trustees.  The goal of the Board of Trustees is to provide our participants with excellent medical, dental, vision, life and prescription drug coverage at affordable costs.  Some of our companies also opted for us to provide short term disability benefits.

In order to become covered under Specialties & Paper Products, you would select our coverage once  your probationary period ended or during the open enrollment period. 

This page highlights a few of our benefits with a brief description of each to which you and your eligible dependents would be entitled to if you choose our plan.

We offer a variety of benefits and the options to our members with quality service at economic rates.

The PPO Plan has a $20.00 copay for primary care office visits and $20.00 copay for a Specialist/Internal Medicine Office Visit.

Our plan is designed to not only allow you to access a quality physician without referrals, but to also provide you with an affordable avenue to receive medical treatment.

One of the most valuable benefits we provide to our members is our personal touch.  We have a staff of four to assist with any needs and questions you might have.  Most larger insurance companies cannot offer a personal touch.  Instead, you must rely on computer voice mail to relay your questions and problems.  At Specialties & Paper Products there will always be someone to personally take care of you.
